    Ye think Manic is on the money here. Richmond member show rate will play a big part and for Anzac Eve those areas were at best 50% full which is why it went from the usual 71-74k Richmond home crowd to 67k. If more of them show up and with Essendon bringing more to an away game than Melbourne...

    Not to be too much of a Grinch but Richmond had originally designated this as fully ticketed (no idea why) so the ticket sales have actually been much poorer compared to what was originally expected. Given an expected poor member show up and weak sales on level 4 of the afl and mcc I suspect 75k...

    They put those bays on sale last week because afl sales are slow. They have been doing this for years now for high drawing games in the public where the afl and mcc aren’t going to be full.

    Nothing confirmed yet but based on sales its going to be: Q15-Q18 rows U-DD Q19-Q24 rows K-DD All of Q25-Q28 have been sold to the public and Q37 and half of Q38 in the MCC has also been sold to the public

    There definitely was one in place. The moment St Kilda asked for an MCG game 3 years ago we lost our tenth home game and got sent to Marvel. We had no Marvel home games between 2017 and 2024.

    Melbourne has a contract with the MCC to play 10 home games at the MCG and the afl chooses not to follow that. Funnily enough the afl doesn’t breach collingwoods contract ever.
