Review Round 18, 2025 - Carlton vs. Brisbane Lions

Umps were bad. Not calling Carlton to stand on qtr 2 particularly. Allowing the man on the mark to move across and attempt to block the centreing kick. It was woeful. Sometimes the non calls are worse than the howlers.

Review Round 9, 2025 - North Melbourne vs. Brisbane Lions

Lost out on a win here due to attitude and mindset. The guys never took this game on like we did last week. So telling. Just coasted mentally and paid the price. I hope a wakeup call was what this game should be reviewed as. Midfield and rucks were killed by a more willing opponent. Neale had a...

Review Round 1, 2023 - Port Adelaide vs. Brisbane Lions

We don't apply the shepherd like we should. An old skill we don't apply. Particularly our midfield. Rather than applying a shepherd or block to a fellow midfielder so they don't have to fight a gang of opposition players everyone goes in for the ball. Ineffective and disjointed footy that...

    Up my goat!!!!!!!

People staring at their phone screen in the middle of the footpaths and looking like zombie mode robots oblivious to the world. Drop the shoulder into em if they can't pay a scrap of attention to other pedestrians and don't realise they are on a collision course with people moving in the...

Review Round 4, 2022 - Geelong vs. Brisbane Lions

I get frustrated at how the Cats get away with so many blatant throws at the contest when it's in and under. Clearly there repeatedly on TV but never penalised. It is almost like they train for it. It gives them a huge advantage to get clear. Does no one else notice this whenever the Cats play...

Review Round 2, 2022 - Essendon vs. Brisbane Lions

I wanna be a fanboy...... Where do I sign? Good win, a team building one. Adversity breeds success. We will keep building and have some really impressive displays of good footy this year I'm tipping. A much better start to this season than we have had for many years.

Review Round 9, 2019 - Brisbane Lions vs. Adelaide

Umpiring standard needs review across the board. That was country league stuff there on Sat and woeful against Collingwood. Not rewarding the tackler has to stop as do the throws - they cost goals in our case. I am sure players practice the slingshot throw - they always seem to favour the team...

Lewy has his knocks but his run to the centre of the ground, intercept and make a contest and we win the ball was epic.

Unofficial Preview Changes Rd 5 v Collingwood

No unforced changes this week. Watch and see. Not the time for mixing the team up with a short break. Next week will be the changes week if required.

Review Round 4, 2019 - Essendon vs. Brisbane Lions

Ditto this - we all thought the same watching yesterday. The bombers had their heads and mindset in the right space and the light shone on them. One of those everything goes right games for them and good luck to them - it happens to all teams once in a while. Not deflating that good teams make...
