Played a masters tournament on the Moreton Bay field at Burpengary on the weekend. Despite the pouring rain, the ground was pristine. Props to the groundskeepers (or the drainage) there.

G'day Blowesy. Technically this is the lowest division in Brisbane, but you will find some talented players running around still. Some teams do bring a very social atmosphere (Yeronga, Kenmore, Woodsmen and a few others). I guess it all depends on where you are living and the closest teams.

Don't discount Yeronga. They have great facilities and welcome players of all abilities throughout their 3 teams. They train on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The thirds in particular are a very social bunch of blokes and have quite a few every year who are new to the game. Let me know if you need...

Big difference between Kedron thirds from last year and their senior side this year, as you would expect. Similar with UQ fifths now their thirds team. Jimboomba the big improvers from last year. Ferny Grove and Mayne starting to play some good football as well. Hard to tip who will play Kedron...
