News Stadium: The NEW Home of Football in WA

I agree with this as well (even though I have taken advantage of it). I would have thought that a limit of one per member would be the minimum they would institute but it appears to be a free for all...

News Stadium: The NEW Home of Football in WA

Would strongly recommend that people stay patient with the online system and keep checking availability for changes when their window opens. I had two seats that I needed to reallocate and I wanted to add a third membership as well. My seat window opened this morning so I was checking...

News Stadium: The NEW Home of Football in WA

Thanks guys. Very helpful. Do you know what the front page of the member portal says when your priority period opens? My page currently says "0 days until your seat secure window opens" with a big "Preview" button above. It was saying 1 day before 9am this morning. Does this mean it is open now...

News Stadium: The NEW Home of Football in WA

Apologies if this has already been asked but I was wondering if you can change your seats more than once? i.e. change reserved seats, then hold off from confirming for a few days and then change them again if something more suitable comes up? Also does anyone know how many extra seats you can...

    Nat Fyfe Signs New Deal

If you actually read the article the real amounts are $1.2 million a year plus $200k/yr in additional sponsorship/media payments $1.2M/yr for a player who is top 5 in the comp at his best and is a contested/marking/accumulating hybrid and emerging Captain seems reasonable to me

    Autopsy Belted by Brisbane

Terrible game today and I am really disappointed by the result. The open corridor and non-existent forward half from us were really hard to stomach... The comments to follow, although prompted by today are more related to the last 18 months than just today. I will also caveat this by saying...

    Autopsy Belted by Brisbane

Major understatement as to where we are at. I will post a full review later but suffice to say I do not think the bye is the answer...

Society & Culture Suspicious things you've witnessed around your parts

In hindsight it was very suspicious but I didn't realise until the following day what I had witnessed... Was driving home from Uni one Friday night, would have been around 7.30 in the winter so it was dark and I was heading home to watch the footy on the tele (back when we had to wait till 8.30...

    The AFL In 10-Years Time

I tend to agree but I believe that the best way to grow the market share (and then TV ratings/dollars) is to add more teams not to reduce teams. I think if you get a truly national comp with regional exposure in major centers and a fair and equitable draw you will grab much higher market share...

    The AFL In 10-Years Time

Good point. Obviously this analysis is only on population size but I would imagine that economic growth is closely correlated with population growth. Hence the contrasting population growths of Perth and Hobart in the last 30 years.

    The AFL In 10-Years Time

Also check out the growth rate of Canberra in the 1950-1980 period! The federal government really took off in those years and we are no doubt all paying unnecessarily high taxes today as a consequence of too much government...

    The AFL In 10-Years Time

A very interesting set of data. See below an analysis of the data I have quickly knocked up Largely I agree with what you are saying. Interesting points from the analysis Perth is forecast to be the fastest growing major center in Australia over the next 30 years Perth is already...

If West Coast lose to Hawthorn will Fremantle "throw" the Derby?

West coast at full strength might test us but they are badly depleted. I feel like this is our best side and we are primed to secure top two before beginning a rest program that we have the luxury of carrying out. Unlike some sides who have dropped games earlier in the year...

If West Coast lose to Hawthorn will Fremantle "throw" the Derby?

As i said lets wait and see. But you are the sort of hawk fan i am referring to when i talk about unhealthy interest...
