Unfortunately for us Gold Coasters, I think you're right. However, a fight in Sydney will be fine. It's Tim's hometown after all.
Yeah apparently Tim and his manager are on their way to Vegas right now to agree on the weight. There is supposedly going to be a big announcement of the fight to...
On a serious note, the other games in round 16 this year are:
Brisbane v Sydney @ Gabba
Carlton v West Coast @ Marvel
Collingwoof v Richmond @ MCG
Fremantle v Gold Coast @ Optus
Hawthorn v Greater Western Sydney @ MCG
North Melbourne v Essendon @ Marvel
BYE - Geelong, Melbourne, St Kilda...
To be honest, I think trying to avoid another Carey situation would be the goal. It's not really fair to a player like Will Ashcroft if Kozzy is permitted to play for SA next year. I think they should just lock the player to one state and that's the end of the discussion so we prevent weird edge...
We just saw one of the greatest Showdown finishes of all-time with two lead changes in the final minute of play. Is this enough to finally convince the AFL to schedule Showdown 60 in round 16 this year to be a standalone fixture?
Funny to see that's your perception of me 😂
In truth, I've felt Zeke hasn't been playing well enough to keep his spot for a while now. I suspect the penny finally dropped for Dimma and he realised we're just not position to carry a youngster like Zeke who isn't performing. We should get more...
See how we go. I still think it's going to click for us at some point over the next 4-6 weeks. We just need to stay ahead of the win-loss ledger in the meantime.
Hard to know what they'll deem acceptable for Kozzy. It's probably not what you guys want to hear, but I feel once you've committed to one state then you shouldn't be allowed to switch to another state. It just kind of makes a mockery of the concept IMO. So I'd rather them rule that Kozzy will...
That's true. I'm not sure if Kozzy will end up playing for SA. I have a feeling that the AFL will force him to play for WA just to avoid any future issues of players switching back and forth between states and rule that committing to one state should mean you're aligned to that state forever...
WA v SA next year makes for an interesting storyline for you guys. The two Pickett cousins coming up against one another for the first time ever at the AFL level. Latrelle playing as a small forward for SA and Kozzy playing forward/mid for WA.
It should be a good contest. The current South Australian midfield bats deep with the likes of Neale, Dawson, Horne-Francis, Day, Wanganeen-Milera, Rankine, Rozee etc. Grundy and Draper in the ruck is a strong combination as well. Thilthorpe will be the main man in the forward line with...
How do you guys feel about this? The South Australian midfield is going to be pretty strong with the likes of Neale, Dawson, Horne-Francis, Day, Wanganeen-Milera, Rankine & Rozee all trying to fit in together with Grundy and Draper rotating in the ruck. Should definitely get the better of the...
The South Australian midfield is pretty stacked with the likes of Neale, Dawson, Horne-Francis, Day, Wanganeen-Milera, Rankine & Rozee all trying to fit in together with Grundy and Draper rotating in the ruck. They should be able to get the better of the weaker WA with Warner and an ageing...
