Clubs sign these players like a normal recruit, I think Grange have one other Southport player who played in Werribees grand final team last year so they are doing something right to get them playing for them is they don’t play VFL. My understanding is these players live on the Gold Coast.

Bailey Gordon Zack Derksen Joel Budarick Lachlan Rhook Jack Manly is VFL listed but can play as he’s a Grange Junior, local juniors don’t fall into the 4 player rule is my understand.

Isaac McCarthy is 1 point as he’s under 21 which makes him a 2 point player and coming from lower Div so gets a reduction that makes him 1 point. Rhook is on Southport VFL list so he’s 2

You can only play 4 VFL listed players each week, as I think that’s why Will Martyn didn’t play for grange on the weekend plus one other who was available.
