    Autopsy 2025 Preliminary Final: Hawks get rolled

    Beaten by the better team. Umpires, though really bad, were not the reason we lost. Some players played well, some players did not. No point in singling out individuals. Hopefully we use this hurt to drive us next year. We'll be back.

    I don't see why they would want Reeves. If anything, they'd be more interested in Ramsden. I said the below almost a year to the the day - not much has changed. Melbourne will want something good coming back for a contracted player.

    Have watched him at East Ringwood the last couple of weeks - I'd think he's a fair way off VFL level at this stage. His tap work is ok when he jumps over the opposing ruck but gets bodied too easily when the other ruck engages him. Haven't seen him take a mark and his work with the ball in hand...
