    The extreme negativity some people are showing is just so unwelcome. If people think that someone else would have been a better pick then fair enough, but anyone trying to put down the player we did select is going against the Collingwood ethos.     I'd appreciate if you didn't lump me in with the 'woke brigade' just because I have an opinion you disagree with. I too have wanted McGuire out for years, I am also a member. You don't have to categorise me in relation to an out-group just because you don't like what I have to say.

    True, social warriors don't run the club. Fans do. And as a lifelong fan this is how I feel about where our club is at. Disagree if you want, but don't minimise the concerns of someone just because you think they're a 'social warrior'.
