Has anyone here been to New Zealand and placed a bet at one of their TABs recently? just wondering if it is like here where you can bet in cash without an account, or do you have to have a TAB account with them to place bets even in person.
For those here that have worked for a place that has TAB machines, does TAB send money out periodically to participating businesses so that they have enough to cover winning tickets?
I have been a bit annoyed recently because i take in a smallish ticket ($100-$150), and they will pay me out in...
Interesting. So they would know if a ticket has been placed elsewhere? there is nothing on the ticket that shows where the bet has been placed, so it must come up when they scan the barcode.
I asked the initial question because some places when I go to collect like a $200 ticket, they sometimes...
whats the etiquette with big collects betting cash at a pub TAB? should you call ahead and let them know you are coming in needing a large bet paid out?
So with the TAB EBT machines in pubs, how do you bet if you want to put in an amount like $45?
you can only select each option (ie $50, $20, $100) once.
Will those TAB EBT machines last long now that we are becoming more of a cashless society?
I dont know if they make much money for TAB compared to their online business. I use the machines sometimes, so i hope they continue.
I dont understand why TopSport still advertise themselves as taking big bets etc. Just saw an ad on facebook for them and they mention big limits and call out other bookies over their small limits.
they have the right to accept whatever they want, but just find it weird they still advertise...

anyone know who the illegal overseas operators they are talking about?
is it bet brokers like Sportmarket? or are they targeting poker sites or something.
I hope they arent...
Yes I was wrong in that post. Looks like a trader just needs to approve each bet, so sometimes takes a bit longer.
Interestingly, the tennis bets i placed got accepted the fastest. they have very good odds for tennis. even better than most of the bigger sites.
tried topsport for the first time yesterday. put like $200 on a NBA ML market about 2 hours before tipoff, and it took like 30 seconds for them to approve the bet lol.
Yeah they definitely arent into 'big bets' like they advertise.
