Watch any football last season ? It got mentioned on nearly every game we played after round 11. I live in NY and caught that. -

No the AFL placed a 3 year moratorium on AFL clubs going alone. It was this year or hold off for 3 years. This was done: a) to support the VFL and help stabilise it b) Control AFL costs which posted a $15 million or so loss and had more clubs lose more money last year than previous years... -

Off-season training
Matt Dea has had stress fractures in the feet and shins both of the last two seasons, Very limited running background. He has speed. He does appear to lack some running endurance but hasn't been able to work on it in his previous pre-seasons/seasons. -
