What They're Saying - The Bulldogs Media Thread - Part 4

My old man is a very decent bowler and former club pennant selector and Match Captain. He's basically stopped playing now because of the absolute avalanche of bullshit, temper tantrums and backstabbing that goes on in the club. I saw enough of it in my couple of years too, blokes that would...

Game Day Dogs V Cats 6/4 AO / Bevo V his Nemesis

The ******* daft part is he didn't have to. Could've gone back, taken a little time and allowed team-mates to get inside 50, or at least gone sideways to a teammate and hold possession. 3 on 1 with West is just so ******* dumb.

Game Day Dogs V Cats 6/4 AO / Bevo V his Nemesis

My brain is about to ******* explode from these dogshit forward 50 entries. Over players heads, kicking to 3 on 1's, not to our players advantage, you name it, our ******* dumbass players are doing it. * me.

Hell of a debut game for that guy. Must be keeping Bedendo out of the side, unfortunate for him.

Welcome to the Bulldogs Joel Freijah

Only got to watch the first half of the VFL with the shithouse AFL scheduling, but I didn't mind what I saw in that time. One bad kick stuck out, but only because the rest that I saw were quite neat and penetrating. Could be a decent shout for a late year debut, but more likely a spot next year...

Welcome to the Bulldogs Lachlan Bramble

Very impressed with Bramble so far, seems to have a decent blend of defensive instinct mixed with attacking nous. Certainly no knocks at all on his disposal so far too, which is really nice. I thought his kick-ins from behinds against Melbourne were all good.

    Sorry Buku Khamis

Still not convinced, I'm of the opinion he was not good against Melbourne (had plenty of friends though), and got the "luxury" (all relative, of course) of a first-gamer in a side that never really got the ball into promising positions for their forwards. Time will tell and I'd love nothing...

Review Dogs 115 def Suns 67

First to admit when I'm wrong and I may have been a skosh harsh on Buku last week (maybe a bit of recency effect from the dumbest kick-in I've ever seen), BUT I'm still not sold on him as second defender. Having a first gamer for most of the day certainly seemed to help. Still want Vandermeer...

Autopsy The Good (lol!) The Bad and the Beveridge.

Was not a fan. Didn't do enough actual defending (admittedly Brown is not an ideal match up but use your superior athleticism), and was ******* atrocious with ball in hand (as expected). Give me Gardner for that match up every day if the week. Can anyone explain what the actual * that...

Autopsy The Good (lol!) The Bad and the Beveridge.

It's nothing personal guys, but if Vandermeer, McNeil or Khamis get another game for this ******* football club I'm absolutely done. To the selection committee, Daniel as the ******* sub, are you ******* kidding me!?!? Finally, it's like an old pair of jeans you just slip into, knowing that...
