Their first album I gave 10 out of 10....there was 5 tracks which would have stood alone for me
Fleet Foxes 10/10
Tiger Mountain Peasant Song
Quiet Houses
He Doesn't Know Why
Heard Them Stirring
Blue Ridge Mountains
Mykanos is obviously a great track in its own right from an EP 10/10...
Does anybody have the links for the re-streaming of the broadcast? They seem to have disappeared from the Triple J page
I saved 1-25 but have lost the rest

And here is the links for 1998 countdown for those...

Looking at 100 Warm Tunas site why is there so much love for the Smith Street Band? I doubt they get played on commercial radio. Do their fans all just vote in a massive bloc and post their votes on Instagram? I've hardly heard that Birthdays song on Triple J in the last 6 months and even before...
Hoops won because it fell in so many peoples' 7-10 vote bracket when they were trying to make up 10 votes and it was all over commercial radio......I doubt many voters had Hoops as their favourite song of the year
So after sitting through the 200-101 songs on Sunday a lot of fans (myself included) still didn't get to hear their favourite band but instead got to hear another 5 Sticky Fingers tracks on top of the 3 they'd already heard during the top 100. Given the fact there were only 8 Sticky Fingers...
They have a dedicated fanbase who vote en masse in the Hottest 100. Same with Amity Affliction. That's why those two bands will be over-represented in the countdown.
