given the losses we’re about to have I wouldn’t want a kid to have to bear the brunt of that. Langford didn’t ask to leave like Merrett and Redman. And he’s versatile enough that he’s going to have a position when healthy. Think he becomes the only option at present -

To be fair that’s an Essendon issue. Don’t contact in training so can’t deal with it in games… has been an issue for years. -

Appreciate Mcgraths effort even if he got himself injured by playing the ball when he should have cleaned up his man rather than played the ball in the first place. Can tell how unpracticed this group is with physicality -

Didn’t seem to work out here and doesn’t suit the list build at present so I wouldn’t be too worried about getting anything more then an open list spot. Has been a good VFL player and probably plays some good footy somewhere next season
