medium forward? she is listed on the doggies site as 176cm but then in the profile as being 178cm. Either way a little shorter than kate. how do they make the trade happen? picks only or would players have to be involved? they'll claim a number 1 pick deserves a good return but her draft...

Player Watch #28: Hugo Mikunda - selected with R3(#48) in the ND - Welcome to North Melbourne, Hugo!

This. Was writing something similar and then saw your post and you have put it far better than I was about to. We did in fact draft on need - the need for speed! The greater positional need over KPF or KPDs, are these running roles. Football is a more and more a ground ball game of speed...

    Review 2025 National Draft Thread | Dovaston #16 / Thredgold #26 / Mikunda #48

If Archer is presenting the jumper in person, then the player needs to be in the room, yes? Here are the initial 12 players invited. Who else will be there? A DOZEN prospects have been invited to the first night of the Telstra AFL Draft as clubs start to close in on their top targets...

I see they also have us taking Sam Allen at 38. Is that what our 3rd pick will come in to? Would that be the original pick in the 50's we got for Finnbar? 38. North Melbourne - Sam Allen Oakleigh Chargers MID, 182cm Allen has a brilliant athletic profile but an ACL cruelled his season. He...

Funny thing is he has us taking Thredgold which some are saying is the reason we are trading up. So, a better outcome? We keep the 2 2nd rounders. Then a few bids and we take Mitch Marsh.

Case in point! AI is often wrong. Why you see so many errors in the media now. They are all using AI with limited checking. I actually gave up after the 6th prompt pointing out the errors and asking to do it again. Fixes 1 error and makes another.

Would be initially AI generated then someone does a quick check for mistakes and then published. The person checking missed this! I asked AI to summarise the fixture, number of trips, away games, venues etc etc. Kept making so many mistakes. Just couldn't get it right. Asked it how many...

    Fixture 2026 season

The WA homes games have some upside. The big complaint from WA based sides is the constant travel, always at an airport, not many consecutive days in the one place. We will no doubt have an extended trip there, the first game is after the bye allowing a good prep in, then post we have good...

Training 2026 Pre Season & Training Reports

I am still amazed how AFL have structured their training. Map their contact hours and access to official club resources to any elite individual sport and see how the athletes respond. Imagine telling Usain Bolt you can't have any contact with Glen Mills (his coach), nor can he set a specific...
