Evans having injury issues is a reminder of a few drafts picks some time ago where we drafted the guys highly rated at under age but then impacted by injury in their final year. Sam Skinner is one who comes to mind but we did it a few years in a row around his time.
Like the bio on Curtain...
We'll never know the value of us having/not having "35 and 55" and adelaide having/not having 35/55.
in terms of those picks value - Payne was a pick 54 (as a pick, not a match), Harris was matched at pick 61, Gallup at 42, Logan Morris at 31 (not far from 35)... Darcy Fort was traded for pick...
I don't know why this is so contentious for both sides.
Why are Adelaide fans here complaining about Brisbane - be happy your 'hard nosed' negotiation 'worked' and you'll get Cal for free in the PSD*.
And for us Brisbane fans, this is negotiation - of course Adelaide are being two faced and...
This is a little record shop in Northcote that does their own Footy T's... I bought one of their back to back T's. Pretty cool alternative to the standard stuff. not sure about postage I picked it up in store.

I believe Todd Goldstein has said he wants to play on. Could be an option as a delisted free agent as the backup ruck if we can't come up with a better option. Think he played about 15 games this year with all the Don's injuries.
although would he come up to brisbane for 1 season at his age...
of the 7 out its 5 senior listed... so only 3 available senior list spots means we probably need to open more up to have more draft picks for matching purposes at the draft?
we might look to shift a couple from the senior to rookie lists. eg. McCarthy and Tunstill (both at risk of leaving...
random player comparison. But I can see Jack Silvagni having a Lester style finish of his career at the Saints.
Like Lester Silvagni's been used as a bit of a mr fix it so far in his career at Carlton (although mainly in defence). It sounds like Saints have recruited him to be a third tall...
re: this sub whinge from Scott...
firstly for Brisbane - Neale is probably the best used planned tactical sub ever. I'm sure there will have been some other examples of a player coming on and changing the game but this was a planned and deliberate use of the sub to get the most out of him...
I know its two days post game but I thought Charlie should have got a bit more Norm Smith attention... when he kicked his fourth goal (early in last quarter) he made it 10 goals to us and 6 to them... and he was the only multiple goal kicker on the ground at that stage... i.e. his cleanness...
Lets say we lose Big O, Starc and Ah Chee from the grand final team...
We already had Berry, Hipwood, Payne, Answerth, Coleman as arguable best 22 players out injured + Doedee and McCarthy as experienced/injury impacted quality players. (with apologies to the rest of the list!)
and we add...
