    It’s better we can see as much of him as possible to determine whether he’s to the level to get on an AFL list. Look at Kellaway last year, he had very good SANFL U/18 numbers, plenty of kids do.

    Do we have any idea what happens if a club who finishes in the bottom five has already traded their first round pick but it later moves back due to a matched bid. I assume they don’t get a concession pick?

    I think it just demonstrates he’s a developing player who still needs to learn where to run and lead, that can come with experience. I do still think he needs a run in the VFL but I don’t think there’s any negatives with the ground he’s covering.
