Game Day Round 9, 2026: Fremantle v Hawthorn, 8.10pm AEST

Late in the last after one of the longest trips in footy, gotta hold on boys.

Player Watch Welcome to Hawthorn : Jai “Duke” Newcombe - 2024 Peter Crimmins medalist - extends to 2032!

It's because he's a mid season draft pick, and it always has been. Unless he wins a major award he's not going to shed that anchor.

Autopsy Round 7, 2026: Hawks destroy Suns

Big call but I reckon he's got the best and most penetrating kick for a mid since Dusty.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Nick 'the Wizard' Watson! Rising star Nom!

It's funny to see how few people have actually watched him this year on socials. Still see absolute shit talked about him ducking when he's not even in the top 200 for average FF this year.

Autopsy Round 7, 2026: Hawks destroy Suns

I think the fadeout talk is overplayed. You can't really complain about a midfield of Witts, Petracca, Anderson, Rowell and Miller getting on top occasionally. The Suns are a good outfit. That we responded like that while missing two leaders is outstanding.

Preview Round 6, 2026: Hawks V Port, 4.15pm Saturday 18th April, Marvel Stadium

Will be interesting to see how the kids do! Has to be one of the younger teams going this weekend.

Autopsy Round 5, 2026: Hawks kick the Dogs

Every article I've seen has made a big deal of English's absence. We beat em by 40 points. English isn't that good, in fact he's quite soft - reckon he'd have wilted under our pressure anyway.

Player Watch Welcome to Hawthorn: Mitchell Lewis. Extended to 2026!

Peak performance for peak performance I would have ML as maybe the most commanding key forward in the comp. Injuries have robbed him of that, but for significant periods where he's been uninjured he's been immense. Maybe the best contested mark in it.

Autopsy Round 5, 2026: Hawks kick the Dogs

I think Ginni's 5 goal assists probably the most commendable stat.

Autopsy Round 5, 2026: Hawks kick the Dogs

Most even side in the comp and I'm not sure it's close.

Player Watch Welcome to Hawthorn, Ned Reeves. Extends to 2026 and then again to 2029!

Reeves is essentially the best tap ruck in the comp at the moment. This rule change has been purpose built for the big noodle. For players with more than 30 ruck contests per game he's: 3rd for Hitout Win % 1st for Hitout to Adv % 1st for Hitout to First Possession % 1st for Goal Assists 1st...
