    It's why against good teams, we can play a good quarter or half, but we all know that the opposition coach will make adjustments during the breaks, and we'll struggle to adapt.

    It's easy to be everyone's friend when there is low expectations and minimal accountability... Unfortunately it sets the tone, and when things do need to ratchet up, the precedent has already been set, and is hard to get away from.

    The funny thing is, it's the individual brilliance of players like Rankine, Tilthorpe, Dawson, Tex and Rash which have carried him over the last few years.

    Negate our strengths, magnify our weaknesses. We have a gameplan that opposition coaches would LOVE us to play; as that breakdown demonstrates.

    I'm fine with the staging fine - if it is applied consistently. If Rash is the standard, there should be a dozen fines every week.

    Depends on our Coach, I'd say. Will this be another year where we get to the midway point and then change to a more attacking gameplan? Or will we maintain the same crap we've started with, poor selections, etc.

    Agree re Riley, the week off won't hurt him - but it is still a very weak suspension. The Rash would I 100% would've challenged, it's a bullshit slur on him and we should've stood up for our player.

And you then play the first half a dozen...
