    Footy Tragic's 2012 Phantom Draft

T'was the plan. Had to be stingy on those 30,000 characters haha. I'll fix it up now!

    Footy Tragic's 2012 Phantom Draft

PICK 69 – GWS: BRAD HARTMAN Height: 188cm, Weight: 75kg, DOB: 16/11/1994 Recruited from: Sturt Hartman will possibly go much higher in the real thing. Outstanding athlete who can play in a variety of positions from full forward, to half forward, to midfield to half back and even had some stints...

    Footy Tragic's 2012 Phantom Draft

PICK 33 – BRISBANE: NICK GRAHAM Height: 183cm, Weight: 79kg, DOB: 12/6/1994 Recruited from: Gippsland Power It’s really hard to ignore Nick Graham’s TAC Cup season where he won the Morrish Medal (TAC Cup Best and Fairest). He shone in the TAC Cup Grand Final, almost willing Gippsland over the...

    Footy Tragic's 2012 Phantom Draft

PICK 11 – CARLTON: SAM MAYES Height: 187cm, Weight: 78kg, DOB: 20/5/1994 Recruited from: North Adelaide I have Mayes sliding a little and that’s through nothing other than what I predict the clubs orders to be in the top ten, because it seems the likes of Troy Menzel, Jake Stringer, Kristian...

    Footy Tragic's 2012 Phantom Draft

Great write up by Kristian Pisano. Obviously a lot of effort put into this! PICK 1 – GWS: LACHIE WHITFIELD Height: 184cm, Weight: 77kg, DOB: 18/7/1994 Recruited from: Dandenong Stingrays It’s fairly unanimous now that everyone agrees Lachie Whitfield will be the number one pick. He made his...

    Our (lack of) skill

It'll be an interesting developement, and the one thing that I can see truly holding us back. I'll remain optimistic though as its only February, but I share some of the concerns that've already been said. The playing group have talked up how much our strength levels have improved, and the...

Who's got you excited for 2012?

I like Lucas, but I think you'll see more his "racking right boot" than left. How's Kreuz coming along? Went to school with him and really want to see the kid get a run at it. Having watched a lot of his junior footy at the Knights I think he's far better suited around the ball as a Ruckman...

VFL Past #54: Nick O'Brien - returning to play for Essendon VFL in 2017!

Re: National Draft Pick # 59 - Nick O'Brien I see a bit of the Harry Taylor's actually.

VFL Past #54: Nick O'Brien - returning to play for Essendon VFL in 2017!

Re: National Draft Pick # 59 - Nick O'Brien Think he will be developed as a big bodied midfielder in the Ling mould. Endurance and strength will be an asset, but lacks the pace to make it as a pure forward IMO. He is exactly the type of footballer the coaching panel would be after though, and...

Father of top draft prospect investigated by AFL after interview incident

Year 12 at Eltham College. I think some people get Caddy confused with Josh Toy with the obvious Essendon/Goldt Coast link.

    Bullying Tactics

Tony, Elliot's dad worked at Quantas for a long time up until recently. He did take a massage therapy course to help out with of Elliot's footy though. He's not a doctor, but with his wife being a hairdresser as well, I think they'd be more than capable of funding the school fees at at PEGS.

    Bullying Tactics

Well considering Josh Caddy went to Eltham, and had nothing to do with PEGS I'm inclined to this poster is wrong. As for Kavanagh, I know Tony Kavanagh personally. Great bloke, and really just wants the best for his son. In saying that he is very involved, so it's possible a few clubs have...

Father of top draft prospect investigated by AFL after interview incident

Well considering Josh Caddy went to Eltham, and had nothing to do with PEGS I'm inclined to this poster is an A-grade tool. As for Kavanagh, I know Tony Kavanagh personally. Great bloke, and really just wants the best for his son. In saying that he is very involved, so it's possible a few clubs...

    Marc Murphy v Scott Pendlebury

In response to the poll, that'd be Pendlebury. Proven player on the big stage time and time again.
