In 2013 we scored over 100 points 10 times and were ranked 5th for Goals scored....This is worse. Way worse....Give me 10 100 plus point wins in a season any day!! (And that was a 2013 side that missed Pav for a large part of the season and featured a forward line that contained Jack Hannath :))

You can have all the forward craft in the world, but if the ball isnt coming in to the assistance of that craft, it makes no difference.

Snuff, i agree with a lot of what you write generally, but I dont agree with this :( I think a forward line of: Amiss, Freddy, Treacy, Walters, Switta, Emmett and Jackson (and Darcy floating down), has the capacity and skill to kick a lot of goals. I think the main issue lies with the midfield...

100% :( I watch a lot of games. Even mediocre games look fast compared to ours. Ugly ugly football, with the very occasional 5 minutes of beauty thrown in.

I have watched it multiple times. Have you noted the extended arms??

"stumble/fall"...... Unusual in a collapse for someone to extend their arms.

It could be quite simply related to the ankle injury. He could have fallen/stumbled due to the pain. Apparently he has "full recollection" of the event. In syncope people usually have a brief LOC and this doesnt seem to be the case here.

Port will be tough to beat but hopefully we rise to the challenge. If we start slowly here, they will make us pay you would think, so need to come out all guns blazing. Head says Port, heart is always purple, so us by a slim margin.

Not really expecting a win here, but I think we are a chance if we kick more goals than them :) Midfield battle will be telling. Amiss due a big game...may kick 4 or so.

When umpires miss something like that, I do wonder if its a mistake or a deliberate mistake though ;)
