Hot Topic Will Elijah Hollands get another gig at Carlton?

Most of the time that's true, but with Elijah I make an exception. He was drafted at #7 in his draft year (admittedly in a very average pool) and shows great foot skills and vision. IF he's reformed, then he could become a key player.

    Analysis 2025 Draft watch

Considering the 2027 draft will be heavily compromised, loading up in 2026 makes even more sense.

    Fixture 2026 Fixture

The first world whining about the fixture is bizarre. If we're good enough, we'll make the finals and win a flag no matter who the opposition.

Official Club Stuff From The President - Robert Priestley

Good post, although I think there was a lot of good stuff done (especially off-field) under the previous two presidents. Financially we are in great shape, and the recruitment of Brian Cook was excellent. Mistakes were made, and there's plenty more to be done in the football department, but I...

Coach Welcome to Carlton Travis Boak

    Past 30. Charlie Curnow

No problem with this deal. While he was dynamic and a good field kick, he didn't perform in finals and we've got a reasonable return in terms of picks and Haywood.

Game Day 2025 Rd 8 Veteran Vescio steers Blues to Victory in last

Such an impressive team effort, but there are some class players developing. Defence is well structured, disciplined and calm under pressure. Games against Sydney, St Kilda GWS and West Coast to finish, so a good chance to make top four.

Game Day 2025 Rd 6 Blues bounced by Roos

Yes, it was a big margin, but I thought we played ok. We're developing a good spine and our skill levels are significantly better than last season. North are a class above all teams, but I think we're closer to them than the scoreline suggests.

Whilst acknowledging Jack looks to have found his niche in defense...five years @ $850K? Wouldn't want their list manager at our club.

Game Day 2025 Rd 3 Blues defeat Lions away

Can we have the women's defensive coach consult to the new men's? The defensive structure seemed very settled and loved the tackling pressure. A trasnsformed side from last season's version.

St Kilda offering five years @ $800,000? Nice to see nepotism still has its place. Or has the competition's most mediocre club been given a different salary cap to all the other teams?

Autopsy 2025 Round 19 Tight game but Blues wanted it Moir

    There's something about Mary Moir.

Hot Topic Michael Voss - Coaching in 2026. Should he remain beyond that?

In 2023 I went to the club's mid-season review, and it was held the wek after the Essendon game, so the mood in the room wasn't good. Voss spoke for some time and it was one of the most impressive speeches I've ever heard. I was stunned, as I expected the same drivel from the press...

    Game Day RND 17 - 🏈 Carlton v Collingwood Game Day 🏈

I know it's probably being a bad supporter, but I've just turned the game off. Another year of spending thousands on memberships for my wife and I, and I've had enough. There's something fundamentally wrong with the culture of the team and the coaching staff and I hope Graham Wright is the...
