    I think it’s a stat that depends a bit on luck. You kick a 20m pass to someone from the back pocket and we take it all the way for a score, you get a score involvement. Someone turns it over at half forward and you don’t.

    TDK fined for staging. Did anyone see it? Last quarter apparently. I saw him knocked down front on at one stage and get back up very quickly. Hall and Flanders were not fined for staging, so I’m guessing they were actually hit in the head in marking contests. I can’t recall them getting free...

    I’m not buying this narrative about us being favoured by the umpires all night. They were constantly getting away with little gut punches and elbows especially after the whistle had blown for a ball up. Then there was the outright dangerous.

    I reckon I didn’t see about 20 players after quarter time but we scored more than our opponents and that’s all we need to do. Loved Silvagni and Garcia. We can only improve from here.
