    49,983 for day 2. Giving the West Test 101,514 total attendance. The first time over 100,000 have been to Perth Stadium for a test match. Does not beat the 103,440 that attended the WACA Ground for the 2006 Ashes for the largest test match attendance in WA.

    The new facilities, increased capacity and building over the railway line for more external access would be great for the MCG. Hopefully an upgrade to Richmond Station is undertaken too.

    80,233 for the NRL grand final. Only the third time Perth Stadium has got over 60,000 for a sporting event. Only the second time when the rectangle bump in seats were not installed which increases capacity.

    I agree, and also the fact that it is not central in terms of Perth’s entire population. The Dockers might be named after Fremantle, and have a big following there, but they are a Perth team, same as West Coast. I would be in favour of the Dockers moving their AFLW games to Leederville Oval...

    Unfortunately the last two AFLW Western Derby’s that were played at Fremantle Oval have been rain affected. It would be nice to see what crowd they could get for a sunny one down in Fremantle. Eagles got 6,000 last year at Leederville Oval.
