    This is a good question - they got rid of the centre bounce plate when Shaun Rehn slipped on one and did his knee. I can’t see any use for it outside of the boundary line apart from aesthetics. I guess we’ll never truly know if it contributed to this very unfortunate injury.

    We was injured most of the year with an ankle issue, finally strung some games together in June/July in the VFL, showed enough to get a call up in the seniors and ended up one of the best on ground in the GF.

    Pretty sure he initially intended to smother but when that became infeasible took the opportunity to make his presence felt as he’s the team hard man. During the season it’s 3 weeks but given one would potentially be a GF I’d be ok with a discount down to 2 weeks.
