    News Hawthorn AGM 2022

Listening to Merlino on HawkTalk Podcast... i thought he spoke very well and presented an attractive direction for our club to head in. I thought Jeff was very petty on SEN, using dirty sledges, trying to make the issues political AGAIN, and telling half-truths... he never fails to disappoint...

    Have Geelong become too powerful?

haha, I hit a nerve. There are a couple of things Geelong fans have no right to talk about.... including rationalisation of suburban stadiums and secondly the sad situation of teams having to sell games interstate. The uber-rich arrogance of Geelong to look down upon others from their tower...

i think they get far too many hand outs from the government compared to other Vic clubs. I don't know the stats, but that's my understanding.

    Clarkson 2.0 Vs Lyon 3.0

That is very tricky. It might not do the indegenous community or the country any favours if anglo-saxans in power start issuing apologies just to make people feel better and not because they felt they did anything wrong. It kind of turns "sorry" into a means of controlling people. But I...

I'm saying that I would not be surprised to hear that a lot of clubs have helped players break up with partners... and that a lot of partners of players have come to clubs for help and support with their marriages or after break-ups. I would guess that even partners who had short flings with...

I once represented firefighters in my job... I heard of an incident where most of the employees from a fire station drove to a house and removed a co-worker from domestic violence and physically threatened the partner. Police stations, Firefighting stations, soldiers, footy clubs... etc etc...

And he is respecting the players privacy and the privacy of co-defendants. These are sensitive issues. There may even be things that he can't say about private lives that are important to what happened.

Instead of posting the same point over and over, how about you go back and read other peoples logical explanations as to why Clarkson is not spilling to the media.

Of course not... but what it indicates is it wasn't just one conversation, one meeting, one day.... a lot was going on and a lot spilled out.
