List Mgmt. Welcome Harley Reid (Pick 1, 2023 National Draft)

Ried will trudge through the front door, the weight of the world poised to bear down on his shoulders. The club's offer, a "lottery jackpot" contract extension, will lie on the kitchen counter. I'm looking forward to seeing him along side Longe, Ginby, Marick, Hewitt and Chessar in the years...

List Mgmt. Welcome Reuben Ginbey (Pick 9, 2022 National Draft)

Ginbey combines mid-tier talent with an exceptional athletic framework, positioning him well to leverage his defensive skills while maintaining a robust two-way game, both attacking and defending. Unlike players like Dangerfield, Ginbey is more reminiscent of an enhanced version of Stenglein and...

List Mgmt. Welcome Harley Reid (Pick 1, 2023 National Draft)

It's the ability to identify where the blocks from team mates comes from that helps the comparison. I don't think I'll ever forget that game.

Training Preseason Training Thread - 2024

Didn't actually expect that Harley Reid would be able to shrug tackles like he did in his first preseason.

    Top 5 Midfields 2024

West Coast easily top 4 in 2024 Ginbey, Hewitt, Reid ready to crush.

Looks like a gun and a compeitive beast. Look forward to see what the combination of Long, Ginbey, Chesser, Hewitt and Reid can do - they all look to have a 'lets spark the club' type vibe.

List Mgmt. Trade & Draft Discussion 2023 post season - Picks Reid,30,40,49,66 (Bush league)

IMHO we will be pushing top 8 next year, people are sleeping on the quality of our senior players if they can get on the park. F1 could be OP this year and could a solid play to get a Curtin type..

    Play Nice Hypothetical Pick 1 Trade Poll: Pick 1 for Picks 2 & 15 --- Pick 1 & F1 (WCE) for Picks 2 & 3 --- Something else?

Looking through the last few drafts - the second round is routinely a dumpster fire of not quite first round quality selections and not quite late enough for speculative mature age recruits (2017 seems to be an outlier however, stacked after the first round). No chance WC would be interested in...

I've said it before but here we go again. Any single one of Reid's match review videos is better than any other draftees full highlight package. Nobody else has the nous, ability to make space, ability to stay in a contest or ability to compete on every line. He is as close to very good to...

I would love to know why victorian talking heads seem so sure that west coast should get trade back for extra draft picks at the end of first round of a draft that has been widely panned as dropping off a cliff in terms of quality outside of the first 6 or 7 live picks.

Pick 1 2023 Trade value - What would it take?

Ludacris to skip a talent like Reid. West coast have been exceptionally good at retaining Vic country talent over the last 20 years, no show mining job and a shiny new BJJ gym for his uncle should hedge some of that risk as well.

I would be happy with a pick in the 30s and some salary cap space for Darling.
