    Most improved after 6 rounds

McKay if you are comparing him to his last 2 years. Also Gov before he got injured. Walsh showing signs although it's only 2 games. TDK showing he can hold down no.1 ruck spot.

News 2024 Injuries, Suspensions, and Concussion Protocols

If you want to do well in this game its less about making bold calls and taking big risks and more about consistently making sensible decisions. Might not work out all the time but over the season you will end up ahead. The risk of keeping Kerch with that 4 (or whatever is was) in his system...

List Mgmt. 2024 List Management 📃

It'll be interesting what happens if he, Martin and to a less extent Cunners (given he has only missed a few weeks so far) come good at the backend of the season again. Its saved Marchbank and Cunningham the last 2 years. If their seasons happened the other way around (played early then...

Plus S Durdin has disappeared off the fact of the earth. Does the club hope we forgot about him?

Injury Blue Healers Discussion - 2024

That update is just embarrasing. Motlop redone hamstring. Going to end up missing 12 weeks with a stubbed toe. Now Marchy has a transverse fracture (no idea what that is but never mentioned before) . I think we just need to put a line through him no matter what happens now. Non committal...

Opinion The 'Carlton related stuff that doesn't need it's own thread' thread Part 3

Yeah, I agree. Feel our system looks a lot more solid this year. Moving the ball much better and look the more dangerous team even when not dominating the game. The fact our victories (and one loss) have been so narrow is more down to oppopsition (Brisbane & Freo) and not taking advantage of our...

That was Cerra. Missed a week through tightness then came back and strained it.

Injury Russell your feathers - discuss all things high performance; injury lists, Marvel surface, curse from the gods and Andrew Russell

Yeah, I'm not sure about that. Nothing wrong with everything you have written in isolation but using that logic you could explain away almost anything. Going by what's been posted on this forum the strength and conditioning team have no accountability if it's a contact injury. Thats just luck...

Injury Blue Healers Discussion - 2024

This is the issue with the conservative approach taken with some of these injury prone guys. They already get injured all the time but because of their history we need to ease them back. So now a regulation hamstring for Martin means 6-8 weeks while it would be 2-3 for another player. It's not...

News 2024 Injuries, Suspensions, and Concussion Protocols

I guess the thing you could say with Butters is both players arrived at the same time. It was incidental that his hip made contact with the other player. Crouch on the other hand was 2nd to the ball so had a duty of care to Carroll who already had his head over the ball

Game Day 2024 Round 5 Discussion - Yet another Bye Round.

Clark is a really disappointing player for a top 10 pick. Will probably still be a solid player but doubt he turns into the type of player you use that pick on.

I'm shocked they still haven't tried Dawson at half back. Seems the obvious move. Feed him some easy ball and get him into form.

News 2024 Injuries, Suspensions, and Concussion Protocols

Not mentioned in this thread yet but you'd think Matt Crouch is almost definately gone for his bump on Jack Carroll. Feel for him as he was only marginally late but Carroll's head was over the ball. Crouch turns side on and collects him pretty hard. They will argue he was just contesting the...
