    From the sounds of it, it has been a bit of a brutal preseason. Also sounds like majority of the team will be back in full training post Christmas break. Still not ideal though. Viney and Bowey seem the long term ones. Lucky we got Steele in after losing Clarry and Trac.

    I may have missed an update but from what Towmey was saying it looks like you’ll have to match with only your next 2 picks. I don’t think they was confirmed but he’s usually on the money.

    Bowser injury a massive blow. Was so good last season. A fair bit taller but Taylor will get his shot. As will AMW. Lindsay a good shout in the back half with his skill too.

    Not sure if it was reported but apparently Taylor told Essendon in an interview that he didn’t rate their backline. Maybe a reason they took Farrow over him. I really thought Essendon were going Taylor.

    I think they put the feelers out to see if there was much interest especially for what I assume they’d want for him. I think there was luke warm interest and I don’t think he was keen to move. Doubtful he’d get anywhere near the compo Trac got.

    IMO DeGoey should be playing predominantly forward. His body doesn’t hold up and even him returning to training early wouldn’t fill me with confidence. I’m pretty sure last season he was meant to be flying and super fit in the pre season.
