    Next season we need to address our fairly rubbish Europe form in the group stages - it's been poor (mostly away, but some home) for two seasons now. Maybe we need more squad rotations, a few kids injected in or just something different.

    Same. In that moment our defenders are seeking space from the opposing pressing forwards to create passing outlets. It's no wonder we are carved up from the point of the critical turnover, as our defensive shape was non-existent.

    The problem with our mid recruiting is for every 1 Shuey/Gaff we've got 5 Ainsworth/Karpany/Patrington/Mutimer/Lambs Picking a decent mid between 25-40 is our kryptonite. These guys are paid great money to get this right, and they consistently F it up!!!

    They deployed the classic counter-WCE strategy. Switch the ball to the fat side of the ground, out-run us in space, and finally kick into a 1-1 that doesn't involve our elite intercepters chopping off the kick. Rinse & repeat.
