Would 19 just get chewed up with matching a McCabe bid? I think we'd try and get a third club involved so we could move inside the expected McCabe bid

From my perspective it's great business if we really rate Weddle.
As for winning or losing the pick swap, it is kind of irrelevant but for those who want to compare, do it without the Father Son impacting the assessment
Disregarding FS and assuming we match our ladder position (13th) it will...
The latest HS mock has us taking Phillipou, with Tsatas going to Essendon. But say if Essendon take Phillipou we'll take Tsatas

I believe they have to swap before the bid is made. Can't wait until he's called out and then trade 22. But I'm not 100% sure on it.

Can anyone clarify the pick swap rules on Draft night. I recall seeing somewhere that pick swaps can't occur after a F/S has been bid on
So hypothetically, if Davey Jr is bid on by Collingwood at pick 16, Essendon would need to use the picks they currently have (i.e.
22) and not be able to...
Considering that they have 34, 35, 36 and 56 this year, this may mean a future pick or splitting picks somewhere

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a future late pick. Means they retain points for their two F/S selections this year while we add points for McCabe next year

Well this has left me a little flat, thanks for the info even if it's not what I wanted to hear. I was really hoping for another pick inside 30 (Mitchell) and/or an upgrade from 6 to 2. Looks like neither may happen
