Game Day AFL 2024 Round 7 - Cats v Blues Sat April 27th 4:35pm AEST (MCG)

Oh, it's more of an existential musing to no one in particular? Fair enough, so is mine then. And equally confused, while remaining ecstatic (as you say you are). There are different ways to measure significant outs. Like it not, a lot of people on here assess it more on a players overall...

    Well said!

Can Port win a premiership under Ken Hinkley?

Where do you rate Port's list in the comp? I'd say they have about the 7th best list right now. So one finals win would be par. Less is unders and more is overs.

Can Port win a premiership under Ken Hinkley?

How can he win finals in April without making them, though? Personally my opinion of Kenny would shift with an 0-8 start and 60% rather than an 8-0 start and 170%. He'd need the finals wins, but it would be a solid start. It seems that you disagree.

Game Day AFL 2024 Round 7 - North v Crows Sat April 27th 1:45pm AEST (Blundstone)

Do I smell an upset in this one? This would be one of the 5 games this year that North Melbourne could potentially win, but a 10 goal loss would be just as safe a bet.

Can Port win a premiership under Ken Hinkley?

Port will win next week. I'd say Port are tracking along decently, besides fluffing the Demons game.

I was never a big Robbie Williams fan but it's impossible to not have the positive association forever after that day.

Game Day AFL 2024 Round 7 - Cats v Blues Sat April 27th 4:35pm AEST (MCG)

Scott has been letting the boys improv a fair bit this season. It does remain to be seen if that will work without one of the best players at doing just that (Stewart...along with Cameron, Holmes and Miers I'd say have the most license to run amok). The onus is on the other defenders to step up...

Carlton of course are the real deal. Geelong gets a chance to join them today.

At the G against a proper side is always a great opportunity. Against the Pies last year we were simply too unfit and banged up both times to maintain the rage.

Game Day AFL 2024 Round 7 - Cats v Blues Sat April 27th 4:35pm AEST (MCG)

It certainly impacts you. But Geelong missing small forwards would make a bigger difference as ours are of a higher standard. Much like Carlton missing Cripps or Curnow would be a bigger deal than Geelong missing Guthrie or Hawkins at this stage of their careers. For your last statement, it's...

Game Day Rd 7 Geelong V Carlton Sat April 27 435 pm @ MCG

I'd give one of our three talls the instructions to peel off and be the third man up/interceptor. Z.Guthrie to deal with more of the spillages and ground balls. Between Kolo, J.Henry and SDK we have some decent defenders. It's a good chance to really test them. Blicavs or Stanley sitting...

Would you have taken a 6-2 start, when the fixture was released?

Just to repost from the other thread in case it's locked. Legislation changed on the sub. It doesn't have to come from the bench now. In round 1 for Essendon, Tsatas was named on the wing and was selected as sub by Brad Scott. 95% of the time it will come from the bench still but it isn't a...
