It’s amazing that the coaches has got that out of his game.. think he’s a skillful tall midfielder when he is actually a clumsy ruckman who hack kick the ball 50% of the game. -

Sharman set up 2 goals for Higgins in the first quarter, also saved us 2 goals by intercepting at the back and a run down tackle.. That’s a 4 direct goals contribution, should be happy if we can that every week.. marking and goals will come.. -

What we needed to do is find leading targets or short kicks coming out of defence even opposition is set up… instead of panick kicking or long bomb down the line, we needed to use a combination of short kicks /overlapping runs from behind and kicks to leading players to retain possession and... -

Our transition from the backline is shocking and lazy.. what is Enright doing? just long bomb to the wing and get it kicked over your head in 2 seconds time, so dumb.. where the standing rule, where is the run from behind to hit leading targets upfield, much easier and less taxing that hoping... -

Garcia has a lovely kicking action and can hit targets with ease, just need to do it under pressure, think he’ll be a gun. -

I think the balance in the backline is now better.. Carrol, Stocker, Sinclair and Nas can rebound pretty well, with Stocker pinch hit on a medium tall. 4 talls are too tall, especially on a wet track. -

That’s why Marshall cannot be a forward, just lacks the forward’s smarts and touch, TDK too for that matter.. Hope they can both improve on that front. -

I really thought our game plan change has made the team more nervous and panicky than before.. Even Wilkie, Sinclair and JSOS who were supppse to be reliable kicks were making costly turnovers, some really early in the game as well which sets the scene and the nervousness filters through the... -

Dropped marks, fumbles, turnover under little pressure are only the symptoms of a dis-functional midfield where you don’t have 1-2 mids who can consistently win it clean and get the ball to outside for a clean disposal, one fumble/rushed/slightly under-hit handball/kick leads to next crap... -

I’ll definitely get hound down for it, I think Hall is more important to us than Nas. Hall is a true mid (in juniors) who can also play HF at an extreme high level.. Nas can pinch hit in the middle, but at this stage he can’t win his own ball and relies on teammates to give him the ball, we need... -

I actually blamed the game style on Enright. He is responsible for the overall game strategy, this part too defensive (long bombs to the wing and forward pockets, flood the backline), part too aggressive (push up to apply frontal pressure, handball happy).. both have failed more often than not...
