Poor campaigner
I worked nights for 7 years and did 3 shift rotating for 7
Been doing a set dayshift 3 x 12 hours for the last two years but my sleep patterns are still completely ****ed
Is what it is unfortunately
Hopefully we can sort out whatever is going on re our injuries but in the meantime it’s a good opportunity to give Sonsie another crack and hopefully in the middle
I suspect he has a long term hip flexor or groin niggle that has been developing over the past few years
Just doesn’t seem to have the penetrating kick he once had
No.
No agreeing to disagree and having an amicable debate
I won’t be satisfied until you and Morro resort to personal attacks and at least one of you calling the other champ in the most condescending way possible
I thought he took a few more risks as well (in a good way)
Ran through a few stoppages looking to shark the tap
A couple of times it came off and a few it didn’t but it was really good to see him have a crack and win some ground balls
It’s a side of Hugo I’ve never really seen even at vfl level
Yup even when he turned it over it still meant Melbourne didn’t get the quick clearance a turnover at half back is a lot less damaging compared to a complete loss of the contest at a centre bounce
Especially with 666 rules
It’s another aspect that gets overlooked when people are judging them (Taranto and Hopper) without them our oldest starting mids would be Prestia and Graham
They are providing massive amounts of leadership not just for the midfield but the entire club
Yeah can’t really get shitty about staff poaching when our footy department was built off of Hawthorn, Geelong and Collingwood
Its just the nature of the comp
2 with a 3rd year trigger at 35 games or something like that would be good imo
Gives him some security but also incentives to perform as well
Even throw in some trigger bonuses surrounding the pre season to really put a carrot in front of his face to come back in top shape
May of just been a plan that they elected to try with May being on him and they were trying to avoid him but definitely would of been nice to see some of those leads honoured as well
Hopefully we get a chance to see how he plays with both Lynch and Balta in the side as well at some point...
Was also a massive highlight of his game against the eagles
He’s extremely busy and always trying to create movement and opportunities for himself or the other forwards by creating space
It’s a credit to both Leafu, our coaches and probably players like Lynch who are really helping him...
Although I wasn’t a massive fan of him staying on field I didn’t mind seeing Hopper so emotional with the injury
He was ******* pissed and even kicked the bench
For a side that’s smashed by injury’s and probably going to have an underwhelming seasons it’s still nice to know the players give a...
Only difference is all those boys are at the tail end of their careers and over 30 so a drop in form is to be expected unlike Graham who should just be entering his prime
