Needs some white, the black on teal is harsh and looks a bit messy from a distance. I like the idea of the double black chevrons but could do with white outlines, would also give the number a subtle white out too.
Jeez the clash didn't become bad until the sun went down and the lights came on, the poorer quality lights at Norwood have made the shadows on wide shots pretty bad.
They should've stuck to the monochromatic concept of their other jumpers, pale pink base with hot pink details and shorts.
The mix of pink, white and charcoal is crap
Adelaide's clash feels like a fauxback almost, feels very 90s. I like it more than most of their previous white jumpers but wouldn't say that I like it in general. I think it'd just look better if they ran with normal oversized hoops rather than the slightly diagonal oversized logo.
Was a little shocked and thought that GC suddenly had a new white and red kit, but it's just a training jumper. Looks a little bizarre, particular the white on Fox Footy's graphics.
I actually quite liked them
While it was seemingly short lived, it was fun to have a subtle point of difference with the Clash jumper each year. The year before had the faint claw tracks. I know it's something mainly merchandise driven, but in a sport that doesn't have the year on year total...
Holy shit that mash up of sponsors might just be the ugliest we've seen yet? Looks absolutely bush league, and the positioning of the Penrite logo is terrible
edit: I had only looked at the back when I posted this lol, the front is even worse..
I think it's a solid shot. Honestly, I'm somewhat expecting the top 10 to look very different to what most predictions are. Last year Gracie Abrams popped up in 5th and the general feeling was 'where did that come from?', I'm expecting a lot of the same today.
I think Victory Lap won't poll top 10, thinking more the 15-20 range, I think his song with Amyl and the Sniffers will poll just as high is it.
Raindance by Dave and Tems is still somehow getting forgotten by SB, songs huge atm, maybe a little too late in the year to have gained momentum with...
They've opened up Top 3, 5 and 10 betting to SGMs. Don't remember them doing this in the past? Could be some money made
Edit: I just put together 12-12, Dreamin, Nice To Each Other, Fame Is a Gun and The Subway together for a Top 10 multi, and its gave me odds of $36....
Nothing's a certainty...
