It's so rare for us to lose by 60+ as well, we've only had 8 in the Bevo era (only Sydney and Geelong have had fewer since 2015). The last 2 weeks have accounted for our 3rd and 6th biggest losses, respectively, in the Bevo era as well.

6 games in a row without a goal for West as well, has had 10 shots for the year for 1 goal, with a Shot Rating (difference between expected score per shot and actual score per shot) of -1.38, last year he was going at +0.26. He's equal last in the comp with Chol in that stat.
So why was Emmett playing in the Hawthorn and Geelong games then? Because Lobb and Darcy were needed in their preferred positions to keep the structure that we desperately needed.
Lobb and Darcy were available for the entirety of the Hawthorn game, and for that matter, the parts of the Geelong...
Player Ratings aren't to be taken as gospel, but it's a decent indicator of form and comparing R0-R4 and R5-R7 just shows how many we have down on form.
Obviously it's small sample size so there will be some extremes, injuries also a contributing factor to certain individuals, but to have 8...
If English is that important to team structure, the fact that we don't have anyone remotely capable of rucking at a decent level in reserve is frankly the biggest oversight of the last decade. No hate towards Emmett, he's been thrown to the wolves.

I wasn't saying it's the worst I've felt in the Bevo era, I was saying I don't think I've seen us play a 10-quarter stretch (HT in the Essendon game onwards) as poorly in the Bevo era, especially considering how well we played in the first few weeks.
Even stranger when Bevo was going on and on in last week's post-match and the weekly presser about Hawthorn scoring too easily from forward half turnovers, only to let Geelong get 5 goals from that source by QT, I believe the most by any team in a quarter since 2014.
Christ you're right, that was worse, I'd forgotten about that. This time around, it just feels more bizarre though, given how easily we were scoring in the opening few games.
Absolutely, the fact that we've only played Geelong at Docklands 5 times (12 seasons) in the Bevo era is totally ******, but the ground location was irrelevant tonight, the last 3 weeks should make that clear to everyone. I don't think I've seen us play a worse 10-quarter stretch in the Bevo era.
