    i didn't get cold at all, or lose my voice. i stayed to the end though so i could still cheer on the caff and beams.

    Thanks Opti. Don't talk to me about seats! It's a long, painful story involving a misunderstanding, HOMP's sister-in-law and the husband's Carlton-supporting AFL colleague - and it's not sorted yet. Hopefully we'll have them by day's end.     Footy is life. I honestly don't mind the negative posters. It's good for a read and a larf at times.

    You know me Opti. I just love the game. I tell it how I see it, and criticize constructively, and always try to stay positive. I think you go about it the same way.

    I play the ball and not the man.

    I don't get the new breed of member who'd rather talk about who let us down, then who helped us win.

    If a player let's us down, you can make reference to it, but there's no need to rub salt into the wound.

    If they're no good, then they won't last in the system.

    If we're no good, then we go away and get things right.

    I've only ever lost my faith once in the black & white, and then they turned it around and won the next 7.

    I'm tipping a big win against the enemy this week.

    Daicos wasn't playing when I was a regular footygoer so I didn't see him live. I think all retired champs get better as time goes by but I don't think it matters who people think was better - it's just opinion and it won't change anything.
