Autopsy Flat Cats go down by 30 to Port

Still only early in the year, but that seems reasonable. The problem with unconditional worship in the footy media is that they forget to look at birth dates. Dangerfield has done zero wrong in preparation, and he's never been in anything but excellent condition. But he's 36 years old. While...

How could Geelong possibly miss James Worpel?

Don't forget luminaries such as David Loats and Tim Hargreaves.

Autopsy Flat Cats go down by 30 to Port

Great post. Edited to acknowledge these two in particular. I'm far from Smith's biggest fan, but couldn't agree more on this. He was our only midfielder to consistently run hard and present all night. He'll never be the best kick in the world, but at least he kept presenting. Dempsey is a...

Autopsy Flat Cats go down by 30 to Port

Bear in mind, if you take the kick in now you can wander out of the goalsquare and have that kick attributed to your possession count. They kicked 17 points and he took a fair few of their kick-ins. It can be misleading.

    Autopsy AFL 2026 Rd 7 - Port v Cats - Sat April 25th 6:05pm (Adelaide Oval) 6:35 AEST

You could really see the physical difference between a very inexperienced (and extremely promising) ruckman who has had 2-3 pre-seasons and one who's had 6-7.

    The downfall of Fox Footy.

Yep, probably because they're the most desperate to be friends with them. Mark Howard the absolute worst at this in particular.

He's not and has never been our number one ruck in any case. If that was anyone it's Stanley.

Player Watch JHF - Jason Horne-Francis

Yeah he killed us. I think we kind of sort of tried a run with using Atkins. Didn't work to put it mildly.

    The downfall of Fox Footy.

Surely it's "Jeremy" now. As apparently all star players have to be called by their first name only. Newsflash you cretins - not everyone watching is cheering for your idols. Opposition fans certainly aren't. Try for two seconds to be professional and call them by their surnames.

Injury Season 2026 - Geelong Injury Thread

That's exactly it. When I see a player hobble off holding the back of his leg everyone knows it's a hamstring. All supporters are after is a timeframe on that hamstring. Nothing else.

Universal Love Tyson Stengle Possibly AWOL

I'm sure it can be. Except that someone - either a club or person - has to be the one paying that person. If they go off the rails you're getting no return and you're losing a lot of money. I wonder how many on here are willing to stump out a few hundred grand if Hollands is cut loose. I'm...

Exactly what you've written. Football related. Anything outside of that, don't care.

Injury Season 2026 - Geelong Injury Thread

You better get moving and tell all the footy journalists that then. Plus every club that submits injury lists. I'm sure they'll be easily persuaded.

Can't stand her. Cannot see one thing she contributes to footy or journalism.

Injury Season 2026 - Geelong Injury Thread

Is your physical fitness part of your job? Is it an athletic profession? Is it directly relatable - and responsible - to whether you can do it? And are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars involved?
