Absolutely. How is he meant to do his job properly? Or any senior coach for that matter. He's still the most important person at the club as far as the football team goes. No information about the players like this should be withheld from him. -

Crowds are pretty quiet these days though, at all grounds. I don't think he would have copped much at all to be honest. The days of supporters yelling out abuse at the top of their lungs are long gone (at least at the games I've been to anyway). -

You're much closer to it than me, but I worked with people years ago who knew some soccer players, and they said almost exactly the same thing. They were hit on for money relentlessly, either by family or by hangers-on. Probably more common than we think.
