    If we've only offered Marshall a 1 year deal, we must have really gone off him for some reason. Bizarre to me that we would offer a 20 year old high-ish draft pick who's a premiership player just a one year extension. Something very odd going on there.

    Not sure about this. They played in a 16 team comp in an easier time to be a great side. They were, undoubtedly, phenomenal, but on their best day, this current group has them for mine.

    Yeah, I am sadly resigned to Doedee not getting back to the seniors now. Whether psychological or physical, he just seems to have lost the pace of the game entirely. No real promising signs at all.

    All the hype of Freo making a big jump this year is misguided I think. The way they have played this last quarter tactically has been awful. Bombing it long from kickouts to outnumbered contests over and over again.
