    Glad they realised at 3/4 time Windsor in the middle was making no sense and got him out of there. Didn't mind what Culley showed in there for a bit, worth persisting with him in the middle I think.

    Not a defender. Needs to play midfield, realistically that would be on the wing. And if he's not good enough to get a spot there then play him on ball in the VFL. He's not going to improve getting cheap kicks at half back.

    In the men's, why have the 4 wildcards to Australians gone to Duckworth (33yo -- 34yo in 9 days), O'Connell (31yo), Thompson (31yo) and Hijikata (24yo)? Hijikata I'm happy with as 24 is still relatively young. And Thompson has at least been top 30 and made the 4th round at slams before. But...

    Just saw Cordner named AA. Why on earth did we ever trade her? Melbourne person through and through. Just looked up the pick we got and who we used it on, doesn't look like she ever played a game and went back to playing netball.

    First MCC lockout I can recall since 2007 PF Collingwood v Geelong. And prior to that 2000 GF Melbourne v Essendon.

    2025 Attendances

    They have other Category 1 games. E.g. King's Birthday always is and Anzac Eve has been sometimes. Agree it does seem strange for a Thursday night game though. If it was Saturday at 2.10pm I could understand the decision.
