    Bjelica will play mostly SF right? Can only see him playing the 4 if we go small ball. KG won't play many minutes (max like 24 per game). You have to add in Pek as well and our front court is an absolute log jam.

    Shame that Benteke could miss, he was reasonably good against the Gunners and I think similar tactics should be applied at OT. Coutinho misses as well doesn't he? Interesting to see how Rodgers sets us up and the personnel he uses.

    The guardian reporting the Ilori transfer details; 1 mill now, 6 mill in the summer if they want. That's horrendous mismanagement on our part, especially for a player who seems to fit the Rodger's style of a ball playing CB. Very disappointing.

    Full credit to Lovren again this morning, thought he was fantastic. Simple but effective with the ball, closed down space well and largely held Giroud in his pocket for the game. Looks to have turned his Liverpool career around

    Yeah feels strange to say but this was the Lovren I was expecting last season; good on the ball, not trying to do too much and looking reasonably calm under pressure. Also marshalling the defence on set pieces.
