I have no idea what your mum was dishing up, but they sure as hell weren't cupcakes. I'm going to guess they were something healthy. Good hustle PapaJ's mum. Good hustle.
Possibly. Historically, the best talls go in the first few picks of the draft. No point taking an average player simply because he is tall.
As an aside, it would be nice if everyone stopped using Pitt as an example of a bad draft choice. Unless of course you all want to start ripping into the...

Terrible analogy. As foods, both crabs and potato salad are awesome.
EDIT: Or maybe not? Crab and potato salad is actually a thing. I thought you were talking separately...
Combining them together just seems like a really good way to **** up two great things. Like bacon cupcakes.
Clarke only turns 24 next season. Good young player. If he's consistent in 2014, he'll lead the ruck each week.
Sandilands needs to be managed throughout the regular season. Griffin is recovering from an ACL. Mammoth is not a #1 ruckman. Neither Kepler or his reconstructed ACL are #1 ruckman...
Boom. I too have read that hymn. The team that loses a player of their own doing gets rewarded, the team getting the player gets rewarded and all the other clubs - that had nothing to freaking do with any of it - get punished with a lower draft pick. Stupid is, as stupid does.
Mayne can and has played as a defensive forward. He needs his opponent to be accountable AND is willing to sacrifice his game to do a job for the team.
Ballantyne - Clarke - Walters
Sylvia - Pavlich - Mayne

It's a tough one. Particularly if De Boer is forced out of the side in 2014, doesn't play much in 2015 and Crowley is still running around in 2016 (not all that unlikely).
At the moment, De Boer seems the likely replacement, 'at the moment' isn't really relevant to the future though.
