    I agree, but it's not like Bulldogs can offer us cents to the dollar to get the trade done. I hate talking hypothetically, but I refuse to believe that if Bullies couldn't offer what Butters is worth, we would ignore an offer of pick 1.

    Just reading the thread, I have to ask is the psd a real threat to us? I just dont see that in Butters character to let that happen. Nor do I see us letting him walk to the psd without a trade. For example if we were to trade with Richmond I really dont see psd entering anyone's mind...

    I hope for a Wines role swap with JHF. I want Wines in our fwd line to help Mitch. Chop out in the middle when needed. And JHF is at a stage where he needs to carry the load in the midfield. He is too talented to be sitting in the forward line for long stints, without ball in hand.

    30 disposals will be replaced. They dont disappear unless your in total rebuild mode like wce and roos which i dont think we are near. And its not like we are losing Butters, we need to be paid. I more confident in a Butters replacement than a Geo or Aliir replacement if we are facing that...

    I dont think Butters leaving is going to hurt us as much as people think. Absolute superstar but decent mids can be found/traded/developed much easier than kpps. We have to absolutely nail the trade though.

    I cant agree, Vis was destroyed by English, our first goal was the first ruck contest that Sweet took. I still think Vis will come good but he is not a starting ruck when Sweet is available.

    I dont think our defence is relying upon height as it seems it is more system based now. Jones and Bergs have shown they can play above their weight. I think Marshall has had a decent start but had a bad one last week. If Josh drops him, he has given me no reason so far to doubt his decision...

    One thing Josh must rectify, is our inability to capitalise on momentum and the moments that change momentum, lingering from Choco days. Bar 2007 and maybe 2014 i can't recall where those moments actually went in our favour.
