Lack of physicality is definitely a concern. Sort of just buzzes around without really wanting to impact.
Hopefully it comes with time/experience and some added size.
Kinda shows how far we still have to go. A serious football club makes tough calls at the selection table. It's not even a particularly tough call except for the fact it's Anzac Day and Draper is a popular figure at the club.
Wet weather footy is almost unwatchable if the match doesn't have high stakes (e.g. knockout final). I'd rather watch two s**t teams play in perfect conditions than 1v2 on a wet day in the regular season. The skill level is just embarrassing to watch because the ball is too difficult to handle...
I'd feel a lot more guilty if we didn't dominate 75% of the match. It was criminal we were only 5 points up at half time. It was absolutely HTB though. You need to make a genuine attempt to get rid of the ball in a situation like that.
Very relieved. We were an umpire bottling it away from...

And coaches should be held to an even higher standard. IMO a coach abusing an opposition player should be an automatic suspension even if it's not racist/sexist/homophobic. The NRL suspended Ricky Stuart for calling a player a weak dog a couple of years ago.
Exactly what I was thinking listening to that. He thinks those in the footy community shouldn't be overly critical of one another. Ironically underlining why people like Kane Cornes are needed in the industry even if you disagree with half the s**t he says.
He thought Cornes was deliberately...
Gradually worked our way into it and then were completely dominant by the end. Felt like St Kilda barely got the ball in their forward half in that final quarter. Deserved win.
I can't believe he's still there. It should've been the easiest mutual parting of ways ever.
They've had more losses by 100 points than total wins in their last 50 matches.
Not sure you start over with a stale 10+ year coach who has overseen an alarming drop in standards. They need a fresh...
