    I'm actually staying in Murwillumbah. I congratulated myself for the choice I made when I drove past the packed caravan parks in Byron. Murwillumbah is a hidden gem.

    Misplaced my car keys yesterday but found them this morning. What concerns me though is that I didn't think push start cars could start without the key being nearby, but I was driving kms away from where I found them.

    Truck drivers are campaigners. I was doing the speed limit and a truck was sitting on my arse. When we got to an overtaking lane I stayed on the speed limit. He overtook me then blasted his horn at me. WTF mate?

    I thought about a motorhome but chose a caravan because if you are in one location for a while you can detach the car and just drive that around.

    Electric brakes please me. The caravan picks up a bit of a sway and straight away the electric brakes kick into action.

    With friends in Kingaroy atm then Toowoomba on Thursday and spending Christmas with friends there. Then travelling down the coast to Melbourne. Need to be in Melbourne by 28th Jan as a couple of friends there and I are going to Italy for a month for the winter Olympics.

    In a caravan park in Bundy. As a novice caravan owner I've been pleased with the number of people who are eager to help with things like reversing my van. Had a few conversations with people doing similar to me, some for quite a while and they're all happy to share their expertise.
