I have to admit I am not impressed with Worner, he is not AFL quality and when he's under pressure ,he goes to water. He coughs up the ball to the opposition to often. Simpson has to come in soon, he's a weapon.
I think Chapman is slowly building his game and confidence, I think he will come...
We could have selected Ollie Greeves in the the rookie draft as we were ahead of Hawthorn who napped him, we went for Kickett but Ollie was a huge slider and played really well in the under 18 competition , very strong build ,an AFL ready player and looking at the highlights ,he has real hunger...
everyone goes on about Draper and Davies ,but they are barely c graders and maybe handy as occasional fill ins but they are not long term a1 defenders. Draper is probably ok as the third tall because he is very athletic but is way too much of a lightweight to hold down one of the key back...

Securing the talented 18-year-old’s signature as a Category B rookie comes almost two years after the Lions first...
I noticed Brisbane have picked up an 18 yo Gaelic rising star for 2006 ,Ben Murphy as a Cat b rookie.
Why aren't we proactive getting in these type of players from Ireland, for the mens and womens teams.
This is why Brisbane are premiers ,they get in the players.

Brisbane get in Allen and Draper ,win the the flag, have A grade players on every level and still get healthy picks in the draft, 17,23,44,45,51. We just get in McVee and end up with only 20 & 47, dropping to the bottom of the pack with 875 points versus Brisbane with 1906 points in the draft.
