If you disagree with me, fine.
But you've been a dick about it twice now, so let me break it down for you.
There is a big bone in the lower part of your head that goes from just in front of one ear all the way around to just in front of the other ear. It's called the "jaw".
And other than a...
Have a look at the replay. Got him square in the jaw. Even that image shows the shoulder connecting with the jaw.
Don't know what you think you're looking at.
EDIT: take a look at the slo-mo here...
We can try to justify it all we like, but the fact is that he turned his body to lead with the shoulder, didn't touch the ball, and got Duursma flush in the side of the head. So while I would love to see him play next week, he won't.
Can't really disagree with any of this.
Beyond last year's usual suspects, I'm very happy with Bruhn, Edwards and Mullin. All have stepped up and are contributing very well. I think O'Connor has also been very good so far this year, and Worpel was excellent today too.
Biggest concerns for me...
I'd tell 'em to f*** off. Priority picks are complete BS.
In their particular case, they have the makings of a very good list there, they just have to do the development work (like everyone else).
I'm sick to death of shit clubs shooting themselves in the foot, and getting bailed out by the...
Most of the side is having a proper dip now. Has taken us 7 quarters to warm up this season but we’re finally looking a little more like the side we know. A couple of stragglers (Zuthrie, Close, Atkins has been very slack defensively several times) just need to come to the party now and we’ll be ok.
Two goals to the Dockers courtesy of Zac Guthrie there. Completely squibbed the contest in the first, and gave away a dumb free kick in the second. Nice work Zac.
With all due respect, I'm backing Wells and Mackie's judgement over yours.
I actually think our drafting and recruitment is absolutely first class. It's just that we're battling a system that is stacked against us. We have had very, very few top end draft picks in the last 2 decades, and we...
Of course he said all that. He's hardly going to say, "Well the main reason we picked Hunter was to help keep Max happy, and it makes for a nice story!"
Just had a quick look through Max's draft (2020)... that's gotta be a candidate for the worst draft ever. The top 10 is a disaster zone and it doesn't get any better from there.
The only players taken in that entire draft that you'd even consider ahead of Max are Errol Gulden and Riley Thilthorpe.
