I said a couple of years ago that the bogan thing of saying "question marks" instead of "questions" has become a peeve of mine. Leigh Montagna is one of the worst offenders, but most of the footy media hillbillies say it. It goes like, "it raises question marks about his courage", obviously...

When will Damien Barrett eff off?

Barrett comes across to me as a massive snowflake on this. There must be much more to it than we're hearing. Who's paid for the Mick Warner podcast so they can give us the dirt? :tongueoutv1: All Corn said about the Voss interview was that he'd be "staggered if he wasn't paid for it". Big...

Yeah, I wonder what happened to Sacked. It looks like they've been doing only a handful of episodes each year. I gather it's tricky to get regular guests https://player.fm/series/sacked-afl-2647818

Kate McCarthy said "assimilation" instead of "affiliation" (or similar) when she said that "the Giants haven't really had an assimilation with people in Western Sydney"

I remember years ago on SEN, Geoff Poulter was talking about the pronunciation of "debut", and he was adamant it's "d'boo"

Ha ha! I'm quite sure, but not 100%. :smilev1: Please have a listen and tell me what you hear. It's 2m52s into this. He says, "Jack Ison, who's debuting this week". https://www.podbean.com/media/share/dir-a26b9-2db71fb0?utm_campaign=w_share_ep&utm_source=w_share_dir&utm_medium=dlink

I'm pretty sure Champion Data guy, Corey Mobilio pronounced the "t" in 'debuted' on SEN on Thursday morning. He said, "day-byoo-ted"

FTA-TV The almighty, all conquering Sunday Footy Show

This thing? Did it go long enough, particularly Jones' intro for it? :laughv1: Over 4 mins. No doubt it was another paid bit disguised as content

Years ago, I bought a cheap Gray-Nicolls bat from a pawn shop. I reckon the guy behind the jump was the son of Southern European immigrants. When he wrote my receipt, he said, "ok, one Gary Nicholson cricket bat...". Me and my closet bogan mates thought this was HEELAIRIOUS a long time :grinv1:
