    I agree! To build an AFL standard oval in Bendigo, you'd need a greenfield or re-purposed site. If Allen is in dire straits to hold her seat come November, the cash may flow if there's a willing partner.

    Main problem with Bendigo, is the lack of a potential venue. QEO is in a great position, but has virtually no room in the outer for redevelopment. Mars always had a larger outer and the room for expansion.

    Great to have Stiffy back, we're a better side with him in it. Unfortunate that he's missed the first half of the year, but hopefully just a blip in a 200+ game career with us. He's such a good 1on1 defender and provides genuine drive, could be an AA standard player at his peak.

    Another couple of pre-season and watch him go. We all want good things now, but some blokes are slower burns than others. Zane has great moments now, in a couple of years they'll become great games.
