The
Hobart Football Club in this case then would have a case for a breech of trade agreement. They were forced to disband their TSL Club and associated employees on the premise that they would not be allowed to exist as an original entity in the TSL. Changing the bar at this late stage opens up...
Don't know where you get your info from topgossip but Deloraine definately not(have recruited a quite a few players) and unless Bracknell have had a mass exodus I can't imagine them being in this position either.
A query for the North Hobart supporters. I've seen on a site that there was a history book produced a while back, are there any copies still available and if so how do you get hold of one. I've been doing a bit of family history research and discovered my Grandfather played for North Hobart. He...
Re: AFL team in Tassie
Couldn't find the article I had read before but this is close
The money generated by games at Bellerive will go mostly to North Melbourne. It will pay for all game-day expenses, which includes AFL Tasmania's services as event manager, while Cricket Tasmania will get...
Re: AFL team in Tassie

It must have been a Northerner that posted this on the Mercury website then...
Launcestonians, get over it, we are the capital city, we are better than you, our city is better looking than yours, our habitants are better looking and Bellerive Oval smashes Aurora for six when it comes to looks...
The AFL's vehicle is a lemon in this case. The people of Tasmania have a complete distrust of Scott Wade and his cronies, his version of grassroots football doesn't extend any further than his mates at AFL Tasmania and the Statewide league while the rest of the clubs in the State are totally...
They'll probably slot Richmond into one of the preseason games they have planned for us.
The possibility was flagged at yesterday's launch of the Twin Ovals complex, at which AFL facilities and project manager Ken Gannon said the $7.8 million development at Kingston had created the perfect...
Gale being on the board of AFL Tasmania likely influenced this article as well. Can only hope his Afl Tas involvement doesn't allow Richmond to have more influence in the rostering of games at Bellerive than they should have.
