Imo, only Maley, Bergman or Archer could be rewarded on their performances today. Sellers had 6 shots on goals from limited opportunities but his running capacity needs to go to another level before he gets another opportunity at AFL level.
Maley’s hands are ridiculous and his kicking was...
If JS had the professionalism and drive that Bails did he’d be a game breaking 40 goal per year half forward. Unfortunately he has the training standards and resilience of an under 13’s player.
Player managers leak like sieves. Everyone in the industry knows that. Some of it’s strategic and some of its because they all have big ego’s and love to get things out in the public.
LDU’s management aren’t going to make an official statement during the year saying their player wants out...
I’d be targeting GWS, GC and Brisbane for a few of these types of trades. We need to do more with what we have.
I know Brady tried to do that with the Stephens/Fisher trades but the future end of first round picks should have never been involved for such flaky/outside types (even if it did...
I said for a lot of the day….he spent stacks of time on Fahey and paid him no respect at all.
Got torched by Cumming off half back a few times too (and so did Stephenson)
I don’t mind X and have been supportive of his effort and desire to impact the contest this year but * me a 4 year deal is excessive for a bloke who hasn’t really played a FULL season of decent senior footy.
Players managers must lick their lips when Brady shows interest in a player or...
The first of his “big moves” that done absolutely nothing to improve the club. Brown has hardly been on the park but I would’ve preferred to hold onto him then end up with the offer we received for him.
There were plenty that celebrated that trade but it was garbage then and is proving to be...
Did you happen to notice who his direct opponent for a lot of the day? I’ll give you have a hint…he was best on ground and more disposals than anyone else…
CT is cooked as an AFL footballer.
He had done one ACL in his career, that doesn’t mean he is “injury prone”. Collisions and “impact” injuries happen at AFL level.
The reality is Brayden is just very unlucky at this stage of his career.
It looked like a bad one. But then again all dislocations look bad. Will all depend on how bad the ligament damage is and what type surgery he needs (reconstruction ect). If he is looking at a full reco that’s 16+ weeks and probably season over for him.
And yet, Nick was regularly having sub 10 possession games in 2023 because he was so raw. He is a perfect example of how taller players take a while to come of age.
He is a freakishly athletic player for a kid his size but he needs time to build into his body and get the required workrate for this level. Over the last month he has shown some moments where he uses his speed ect and it’s bloody impressive for a kid his size.
He’ll be fine.
